Copper &
Frisco Location 
Copper and Frisco
are located 7 miles apart about 70-75 miles west of Denver off Interstate
70 in the Rocky Mountains of north-central Colorado. Interstate 70
exit 203 takes you to Summit Boulevard and Colorado State Highway
9 while
I-70 exit
201 takes you to Main Street, Frisco and Exit 195 takes you to Copper.
Being right on the I-70 corridor gives Copper and Frisco easy access
to surrounding areas and towns of Vail, Kremmling, Leadville, and Georgetown.
Frisco and Copper are also centrally located in Summit County, close
to Silverthorne and Dillon, and Breckenridge is 9 miles north of Frisco.
Frisco sits on the shore of Dillon Reservoir at the elevation of 9,100
feet and Copper is 9,400 feet..
Air Transportation to Summit County 
Denver International Airport
DIA is the largest airport with by far the most flights to Colorado.
Located on the northeast side of Denver, the airport is a two hour drive/shuttle
to the Summit resorts.
Colorado Springs International Airport
Flying to Colorado Springs is a good alternative to DIA. Located on
the east side of Colorado Springs, the airport is about a three hour
drive/shuttle to the Summit County resorts.
Eagle County Airport
Eagle County Airport is very convenient but usually has a limited number
of flights, mainly during the ski season. Located just off 1-70 in the
western part of Eagle County, the airport is about a 1 to 1.5 hour drive
to Summit County destinations.
Limosine, Shuttle & Charter Services
Ground transportation is available from all of the airports to anywhere
in Summit County.

Rental Cars
There are several rental car options at each airport.
Transportation DIA to Frisco-Copper 
Local Transportation 
Once you've arrived in Copper or Frisco, there are many ways to travel
between the communities and resorts. Local transportation can range
from the Summit Stage bus service to a rental bicycle.
There is also a Bus ($10 per person round trip) that runs from
Breckenridge and Keystone to Vail during the ski season. For reservations
call (970) 496-8245. Not only are these methods economical and efficient,
but they also aid in decreasing the traffic in our small communities.
This creates a more pleasant experience and it is also a great way
to
relax and enjoy your time while seeing the sights.
